Kathleen Treat (she/her/hers) is honored, indeed, to be joining the esteemed Board of Parity Productions. Kathleen McGee Treat has been in theatre's thrall since growing up with the Arena Stage and an apprenticeship at the Barter Theatre. She is one of several founders of the Off-Off Broadway movement and the now defunct Workshop of the Players Art (WPA). With her husband, the actor Martin Treat, she produced his stage adaptation of Studs Terkel's Hard Times, here and in Hollywood, as well as Martin's one-man show, Ernie Pyle's War. Kathleen began producing readings with The Red Harlem Readers, first presenting Pinter's People in 2008.
